2023 POSITIONS:
Farm Crew
We are seeking positive, hard-working and detail-oriented farm crew members for the 2023 season! Harvest will be a big part of this position, but because this is a small farm there are many other tasks, including field work (weeding, bed prep, transplanting, etc), crop care, post-harvest handling as well as some irrigation. Training provided for all farm tasks, but candidates with experience doing physical labor outdoors are ideal. Someone who takes pride in quality, efficient work and values teamwork would be a great fit for this position. This position will be part of a 3-5 member crew (depending on time of season).
Part-time (15-25 hrs/week*) late March/early April start through September/October
$15-17 per hour DOE
$200 equipment stipend after 60 days
Access to lots of farm veggies
1 work week unpaid PTO
*hours will vary a bit based on the weather/workload. Possibly some weekends.
Qualifications:
Handy Person
March - April, approx. 15 hrs/week (flexible hours)
Looking for someone with basic carpentry skills, comfortable with power tools and small tractors to help with a diversity of spring infrastructure projects, which may include but are not limited to: burying irrigation pipe, building out wash station, building tables for greenhouse, etc. Good side gig and an opportunity to contribute to the farm! $18-$21/hr DOE.
Farmers Market Staff (TBA)
Details to come! We may be at Farmers Market this year and would need staff to run the booth. This has the potential to be wrapped into a farm crew position or be a separate position. Details not yet available, but if you are interested, please email me to let me know!
